Margaret founded ProMatura in 1984. A passionate and direct expert, Margaret is a leading voice in the age-qualified housing industry.

Margaret has written five books and dozens of research reports. She received the Icon of the Industry Award from the 50+ Housing Council of the National Association of Home Builders for her “substantial and lasting impact on the seniors housing industry.” She was the first woman to receive this honor.

Margaret is on the executive board of the American Seniors Housing Association. Within the Urban Land Institute, she is a trustee and Governor Builder and has served on the America’s Executive Committee and chaired product councils. She’s been a keynote speaker in multiple countries. Her latest book is Right House, Right Place, Right Time: The Community and Lifestyle Preferences of the 45+ Housing Market.
